Question about wisdome teeth pain

so i had my wisdom teeth out about 6 days ago, last thursday to be exact.

and the pain is still substantial enough to the point that i need pain killers. its mainly my right side. my left side doesnt hurt.

i've been rotating vicodin and ibuprofen every four hours.

none of my family have had theirs done and i had to fly back to CA yesterday for work. so i'm kinda on my own about it now.

so i'm just wondering if its normal for the pain to last this long? and how long you guys were taking pain killers for?

just go to your oral surgeon and have them take a peek mine definatley hurt 6 days after i was smokin dope and cigs and drinking like i normally woulld the whole time to i got all 4 out apparently its pretty hard for them to fuck up my oral surgeons office was pretty close to my house so i was constantly having him peek in cuz i was scared of dry sockets or somthing but he kept reassuring me i would be fine

I HAD ALL 4 OF MINE REMOVED LAST TUESDAY AND ONE OF THEM IS STILL REALLY SORE (STILL TAKING OXYCODONE). I THINK IT DIFFERS FOR EVERYONE AND IF YOUR WISDOM TEETH WERE IMPACTED AND AT A WEIRD ANGLE IT COULD MAKE SENSE THAT THEY ARE STILL SORE. EITHER THAT OR YOU ARE FUCKED AND THEY ARE INFECTED
 
unfortunately, i cant just go to the oral surgeons office. cuz my insurance only covers MN stuff and i'm out in CA.

 
that sucks if its only a little pain that goes away with simple pain killers you got nothing to worry about if somthing is really fucked up i think youre gunna know its gunna feel realy really shitty not just sore
 
it kinda varies... but the ibuprofen covers the pain for the most part. the vicodin really covers it..
