I'm looking to buy a Salomon jacket, but my concern is, will it be tall enough? I like to wear my clothes baggy, and I'm not sure how they fit. Would a 2XL just be really wide, or will it be long also?

My dad has the Salomon GTX in Large. I'm 5ft7 and it comes mid thigh on me. and it's not so wide.
Though heads up, he sent it back due to it not holding up for a season. shoulder was completely shredded from skis/backpacks. lots of other jackets on the market offering better quality for the same money.

Which jacket is it. I had the reflex in a 2xl and it was almost too long for me I'm 5'11 and it came below mid thigh on me. Great jacket though super warm and really we'll made. But yeah it depends which your looking at. Things like the shadow for example are the more standard fit so a 2xl will be boxy rather then long.
