Question about publics

are the 05/06 publics the same as the 04/05 or are they more for park. I'm looking for a all-mountain twin i ride like 30% park and 70% all mountain. I ski in the mid atlatic but i well be going for a week to europe and a week out west. So im like 5'6 140 pounds im kind of aggrisive like im not gonna go ski an ak line but like at vail i could handle all thier terrain with ease even though i heard vail isnt challenging at all. Yea so i was thinking maybe the pollards but maybe thier to much for where i well be skiing? so then i started thinking about the publics? I ran a search and didnt really find out anything about the 05 publics except that the graphics are kick ass and i really want J.D's advice he is like a ski magazine when it comes to this stuff haha

seth pistols are killer all mtn and are sweet for park....they would be good if u like a softer ski

the new enemys are 85 underfoot and a little stiffer this year.

Would the pollards or the pistols be 2 much for were i ski? Like at home i do some crappy glade skiing, some grommer, mostly park, and a few bump runs. But like when i go out west i do like the big mountain stuff so i dont want to get a park ski.

The new PEs are an all mtn ski. Ask schmies...he designed the graphics on them and is the best source for K2 info on this site. Don't believe everything you hear, the PEs tear it up all mtn. I have the 04-05s and I rarely, if ever, go in the park with them. Plus the newer ones are 5mm fatter which is dope

I actually heard on the k2 forums that the new PEs have more of a flex similiar to the Seth Pistols.

I have some Pistols and they have a ''softer'' flex, but aren't soft. They hold a really good edge, have great pop and are torsionally stiff.

the new public enemy is a little fatter, and probably the best all-mountain ski on the market besides the volkl karma. also consider the karma. it is an amazing ski.
