Question about progression

yeah man i can carve side to side down the mountain switch. Should I throw in some hill riding for you guys to? It'll be like a whole ski aspect vid haha. And thanks a lot man, trying to be the best I can be!

Tuesday ill have the vid up. Monday late night possibly. Hopefully the battery lasts more then 45 minutes so I can get all the tricks on camera!

Here it is, just a couple first runs. this is the footy we got tonight.

Can't say you suck that bad. but seriously telling u put a vid up in few days and claiming those jump tricks and all, then comes with rail edit. still doesent convince me tbh. guess u need to go film again those jumps hah

Good for you for posting up a vid but all these trick claims and you just post a short vid of doing simple rails..

Yeah man i know whatcha mean, but thats all i could come up with for only a few runs. I was really off on the jumps yesterday. Ill post an edit at the end of the season like most people do.

It's hard to believe but you did do some pretty unbelievable things in that vid if its only been 2 months of skiing. Just keep at it and if you are really this good in your first year, you should look into summer training and stuff.

What are posibilities of summer training? Like windells or momentum camps? and thanks for the words dude! ill be posting a season edit with some better clips, be sure to check it out! and any tips would be great!

Youre a good skier, but all of your landings are really sketchy looking, I looked pretty similar my first year. Dont focus so much on doing the biggest tricks. Focus on doing the smaller ones with more style.

thanks man, and yeah i'm trying to work on my outfit style and ski style. Trying to go baggier. and really, they looked sketchy?

Your out fit looked fine man, youre rails looked good, but you always landed on an edge which is fine, but you looked like you got stuck on your edge.

Here's another little edit from a few first runs last night. I'm in purple. Theres some jumps in there. and

The lincolnish flip i just learned friday night. Stomped it first try. Enjoy!

Learned rodeo 5's the other night! progressing real quick homies! ill vid it friday when i go skiing. Probs gonna try a misty 5 too

Thats why in my latest vid just posted above, i did a backflip and lincoln.. i haven't gotten the rodeo on film yet but will friday, ill also get a 7 and 9. Just for you buddy!

honestly, if you're skiing really frequently i don't think this kind of progression is out of the question. theres those edits of wallisch hopping on a snowboard and stomping rodeos. but i think the real conclusion here is that your trying stuff on skis a lot more than you did on a snowboard and its paying off, so good for you.

still a claim thread

what was your mentality learning all these tricks? different than it was while you were on a snowboard? i'm really curious cause that is some serious progression for that little amount of time

Nice man. I'm a little jealous of your progression to be honest. I'll be throwing my first Lincoln this Friday but yours looked pretty nice.

I thought I would be smoother and progressing on skis faster than I am. I'm pretty athletic and have good balance in general but it's coming a little slower than I like - not enough time on the slopes and long gaps between sessions I think slows me down a bit.

On a snowboard i was a good rider, but at park i was just too scared to try new tricks. But ever since ive been on skis it all just felt more natural and came to me easier. I think its just the split legs and facing completely straight compared to being strapped in on a board and sideways. Idk its just really easy to me and a lot more fun! I do my tricks just like i practice on the tramps and it pays off haha. I want to learn doubles next season!

Thanks man means a lot! Good luck with the lincoln im sure you'll stomp it!! And yeah this season have been going almost every monday and friday, so its pretty consistent. I've had about 20-25 days so far where usually i would only go 4 times max! Its so much easier having your own car haha!

threads for 9, and props to o.p. for actually delivering! much better than hood crew callout kid ever did..

while you are progressing so much learn every trick unnatural as you learn it regular before you move on. Then you will be a real G!
