Question about progression

So here's a little background info, i used to snowboard for about 10 years and in my last year of boarding i could only do a 360 of jumps and a 270 onto a few rails some of the time. Now this year I've switched to skiing and its my first year ever being on skis. I''ve never skied before except for when i was 4 one time lol.

So here's the real deal, i'm trying to progres as fast as I can. Last night I did my first 900 and landed but then poped out because i was to "front heavy on my tips" if thats how you say it. But as of now (skiing only 1.5 months total of about 12 times) i can 270 onto rails no problem, 270 out both ways, lip slide 270 out both ways, Swap both ways, 450 out some of the time. On jumps I can 540 everytime with a mute grab, 360, 180 all comfortably, and 720. Oh and i can backflip, I did one my first day out on skis and stomped it first try lol.

I'm not trying to boost or brag about myself, and this is no troll. I just really want advice from you guys that are FAR better then me and way more advanced in the ski world to give tips on how I can progress and what I should work on next.

Thanks for any help +K to the posts that help.

start trying to spin and flip, and just clean up your style, because i guarantee you need to work on it, practice switch skiing and switch tricks, also practice opposite way spins....

i might not be far better than you as for having a big bag of tricks, but i'm picturing your style. really sloppy and not being able to actually ski. i'm a big fan of learning to actually ski before you spend all your time in the park

Thanks for the tips, my style isn't bad, really clean actually but it can always be improved. I'll post a vid to this thread once I get some shots and get your input

LOL there's no slop in my style, and I can actually ski. And I can actually ski switch and switch 360s... I forgot to add that in. Oh well thanks anyways I guess

Not saying I'm a pro or that my style is tom wallisch, but im not sloppy, i think youll be impressed for this being only my first year :)

Says the one with the worst longboard wheel manufacturure as his name (80% of their wheels). To OP: your better than me, been skiing since i was 9 [ 14 now] but having snowboarded before can help ALOT. Skiing allows more pop and freedom of leg movement

very questionable how you back flipped your first day skiing in like 10 years, and u weren't able to backflip on your snowboard......

there is no way your style is good. learn to ski before you start riding park. like actually skiing though. learn how to ride pow well and bumps with at least decent form. learn how to rail turns and hold an edge.

there is no way you can be good at all that in a matter of weeks. sorry but most people spend years learning and perfecting style and form on that. it doesnt matter if you have style in the air if you look like shit on the inrun and riding away from the landing

THIS. Exactly. +K to you sir. I have 10 years snowboard experience, its not like ive never been on snow lol. guess these kids will just take back what they said after the vid :)

This, make sure you look good before you start doing shit like that. I make sure I have a trick on lock before moving to the next one. You be able to do complete runs switch as well.

i have no clue how your switch is but there is a difference between saying you and riding switch and actaully beable to ride switch. anyone one can turn around and look over there shoulder but can you carve? and keep it up tho thats pretty impressive to me what you have already landed
