Question about police reports

i have no idea if any of you have experience with them, as i don't so i'm coming here to ask, next choice is calling the station and asking lol. but if you're accused of a crime, say selling weed, are you allowed to look at the police report and would that police report have the name of the person who accused you of said crime?

The reported might have chosen to remain anonymous or they might have dislosed who they are. As far as I know, the police are obligated to protect confidentiality and won't tell you if you asked.

I work for social services and we can't disclose who the reporter is. I think the police operate pretty similarly.
