Question about going to whistler

ok, so i'm going to whistler on tuesday and i'm wondering if anyone who has recently crossed the border by car can tell me what documents i need to cross the border. last year i went and didnt have a birth certificate and got across but i heard there is some new rules or something.

i go up wednesday. last year it was two forms of official id (license, birth certificate, state id, passport)

or you could go to google and search for an answer. I think as of this coming january you'll need a passport but I'm not too sure about it.

i would imagine a drivers license and passport would be sufficient..

Nowadays you need a notorized birth certificate (not a copy), and another government issued I.D.

Or a passport, but I think you could get away with just those two things since you're probably crossing through WA.

Yeah, they changed it recently, I'm almost positive you need a passport now.

i just went a month ago and we needed a brith cert. and a drivers license OR a passport. i think state id card and drivers license would be nearly the same thing and wouldnt work. why dont you call border patrol or something or surf the net other than ns.com to find an answer. most of the people on here arent even old enough for a drivers license anyways...

thanks for the input guys, ended up finding a number to call and a guy told me you definitely need a birth certificate and a govt. id. now i have to drive home tomorrow to get my birth certificate and then leave for everett, an extra two hours of driving on top of the 5 hours already
