Thinking about going to queens, but just wondering what the skiing is like out there? What hills are there? Whats the parks like?

calabogie peaks and Mt. Pakenham
are the closest that I know of. They seem to be about 2 hours from
Kingston (they are closer to Ottawa). There are a few in the Gatineau
Hills on the Quebec side of Ottawa; Camp Fortune, Edelweiss, Vorlage,
Mont Cascades.
Mont Ste. Saveur and Ski Morin Heights would be about 30 mins closer than Tremblant in the same direction.
there is one called Batawa Ski Hill that's not too far from
Kingston, and a few more that might be closer than the ones I knew off
the top of my head.
other then that queens is a killer school. i have a couple friends who are going there, their frosh week has been nothing but fun so far. skiing wont be the best there but outside of that, everything there is pretty unreal from what ive heard and seen.

^^^ Most of the hills are where I live now and I can't see myself driving 2 hours to go to them... So there is no local ski hills like within an hour with a park?

Im going to SLC (yeah I know scum of the earth right?) and Id love to go out and hit up some of the local places when the snows down. More for photos but who knows I may bring my skis up after christmas.
