QUEBEC LOWERING DRINK AGE TO 14!

makes sense that the only news source reporting this is this one blog post. It's not like this is the type of news that would be debated by politicians for months.
 
Can't really tell if its fake or not mainly because Quebec is already nuts, but this would be legit.
 
I heard it's over potentially lost revenue stemming from an influx of young freeskiers every year for a certain film festival.

as a quebec resident i can attest that most everyone in quebec has been drinking since they've been 13 anyways

even though i am still under normal drinking age, and 14 would be sick, but a bit too low, i would love 16, cuz face it, you don't not know atleast a few kids with fake id's now a days that are like 16-17. age should be 16 and alberta should follow, seeing as they are the only place in canada where everclear is legal, trust me you can share this with 5 people and everyone will be fucking hammered http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Everclear_%28alcohol%29
 
everclear drunk nights are always bad.... like driving your car on to a golf course and tearing shit up and making it home safe only to find your buddy has pissed himself in your car.

my friend chugged half a bottle, he was the most fucked i had ever seen a person. he threw up 7 times in one night . no wonder why us albertans are so facked
 
fak cuz i live in quebec and never heard of this.. and like the other guy said that wouldnt change shit cuz we start drinking like at 13 here... our parents buy alcohol for us for parties since weve been 14.. nbd .. im 16 now and have fake id so just do it myself
 
Dude, your misunderstanding. It is easy to obtain alcohol and the majority of people wouldn't give a shit. I live outside of ottawa and ive been going to hull with friends since i was 14. That said, it would be nice to not have to worry about even getting caught when buying booze, and getting charged. For us ontario kids, the liquor stores are a little bit stricter and we don't buy booze from a corner store like you guys. Quebec is a shit hole, but its the funnest shit hole in Canada. That said, i really don't think it matters, get a fake id and your set till your 19!
 
This was unbelievable. The rumor spread around my school so fast today. It didn't make sense though 18 to 14? I'm pretty sure making it 14 would be the lowest of any regulated country.

Its Albania, like any former Soviet bloc nation the whole country turned upside down after communism crumbled. Thats where you get such awesome laws like that from.
