Quantum of Solace

ummmm. i have the entire Bond collection, and every movie is a cliched action film (except casino royale, that was just a poker game). so i'll probably like this new one more than royale.
 
I saw a midnight premiere of it and I'm still annoyed that I lost two hours of sleep because of the movie. It could've been good, but the script and story just was too convoluted and had too many plot holes. They wrote an entirely new Bond story, but tried to keep some elements of the Quantum of Solace book that had nothing to do with the movie and only made it really confusing and anti-climactic.
 
thank you. Ive liked every other Bond movie I have ever seen except this one and casino royal. In both cases I left the theater saying ' what the fuck just happened.' Ive been beginning to think that I'm crazy due to all the good things people are saying about it.
 
haha i was thinking the same thing. you dont go to a bond film looking for deep plots that make you think, you go to watch bond be a BADASS. and i liked it way more than casino royale, dramatic poker scenes in movies= gay
 
Word, After watching damn near every Bond film made (even most of the Dalton Bonds) Casino Royale left me feeling ripped off. Quantum of Solace however delivered. Daniel Craig redeemed himself as Bond and I'm looking forward to the next Bond film. Some of the things that had me bummed though was in the first car chase Bond has to use a gun to shoot the guys chasing him, Shouldn't of Q had some tracking machine guns installed on his car to do that for him. Also no Q in this movie which is a bummer since the gadgetry is what adds a lot of the awesomeness to a Bond film. Overall good film that has room for improvement in the next one.
