Qn about demo binding modification

ive got an old pair of rossi bc's with a tyro demo binding which ive remounted centre. idea is to thrash the hell out of them early season, backyard rail and urban.

anyway, from past experience with the heel piece on that demo binding, it doesnt take kindly to some of the lateral forces i subject it too. it sometimes pops partly unlocked, jams between settings, and next spin takeoff or rail, i get a happy surprise as i watch one ski vanish.

QUESTION:

Can i put a screw through the heel peice below the adjustment hammers to hold them in place.

has anyone else heard of a good way to modify the binding permenantly.

sure it could possibly be done, but your running a HUGE risk of injuring yourself. Also, you could just as easily damage the components within the binding that hold you in, rendering the heelpiece worse then it may already be.

Spend the cash and get a better binding, for your own safety
