Thanks everyone for coming out last night for the level 1 premier and being stoked on the PYP short. level 1 killed it and JD is the man. It was sick to see so many skiers out there last night I wish I knew all of you guys!
We were wondering if you guys could write down your likes/dislikes about the short. Too long? Too short?Not enough urban?Too much hut jump?Anything! We would like to here back from you guys. Be mean say harsh things about our film, tell us it sucked and need way more work. We want the input so we can organize and make next years edit way sicker!
PYP has super low budget though obviously as most of us are already dealing with school. So keep it reasonable! haha no trips to japan or anything like that.
and we will have some more free stuff next for toss haha.

Don't show multiple doubles in half the edits and then show only 1 in the movie. More Liam Casey. Less hand motions towards the camera, they didn't look cool. Did I mention more Liam Casey?

Other than that you guys did a good job for a first film, and for only filming for half the season.

 
Tall T's in pow just doesn't work. All the pow shots were pretty weak in my opinion.
But other than that there wasn't much I noticed, I really liked the sponsor introduction; I think you guys can expand on that next year like go around a whole party showing sponsors. I liked the tracklist too, could you post it somewhere?
 
It was mentioned before but no tall tees in powder.More Liam Casey on different terrain.More partying. Your title was misleading, there was no reason to apologize for partying as there was very little partying in the film. Longer.

agreed.

but the pow shots seemed slowed down. like the snow was really heavy. ( and it probably was given it the west coast)

but I really liked the movie, stoked for next year!
 
the only real problem was it wasn't that long, i think, mind telling me where some of the urbans are that where in the movie?

How do tall tees not work in powder? MFM does some of the illest shit you;ll ever see in the backcountry in like a broncos starter jacket
 
doesn't the snow get all stuck to the bottom of the t-shirt that hangs below the jacket? I think I'd find that annoying.
 
who cares what they were wearing its the content that matters

suggestions: remove the apple imovie watermark, it made it look instantly noobish at the beginning. opening segment would have been better if it was more park/urban oriented, since pow obvs wasnt the strong point. liams part was dope, it made the movie, but it should have been longer / more spread through the movie.

it was pretty good though good job for the first release
 
thanks for the feedback, the only reason the imovie watermark was there was because we never planned for this to goto dvd, we knew the morning of the premier that it was gonna play so we had to burn a dvd and honestly i don't really care how noob the dvd menu looks. we only filmed for 3 months so thats why it was short, the way we had it work was pow, park and urban, so we only did one 5-day urban trip and thats what we came up with, the park shit was all used in our web edits and we didn't feel it as "season edit" worthy, and obvs the pow wasn't very good as we only started in late february and it was our first time, hope you guys will watch our shit again after this season, we feel it will be a lot better as we have a full season and better planning..
