Px12 lifter question

say i want to buy the lifter binding, but then take the lifter part off. would it be the same height as the px12 jib then? the lifters i found are much cheaper.
 
technicaly the jib comes with a set of 3mm lifter pads that do nothing whatsoever, so no it would be closer to the ski then the jibs, Also you would either need to cut the screws down or get new ones since the ones that come with the lifters would be too big if mounted without the lifter. Shops will usualy charge a little extra for this.
 
It is not hard at all - the bindings sit on top of the pads and are not really connected by anything except the mounting screws - you just need to make sure to get the proper length mounting hardware. I have three pairs of skis with Px12 lifters and I had all of them mounted without the lifter pads.
