Px forward pressure

Ok, from what i understand its supposed to be half black, half yellow, or half white, half black, depending on year. mine is all yellow, and i find that when i click in, sometimes i have to stomp on em to get em to click all the way.

2 questions

a) does that mean the forward pressure is too tight or too loose

b) how do i fix it. and dont tell me to go to a shop, i know what they are supposed to look like (half and half) i just cant figure out how to set it.

the heel is on a track. you need to loosen the screw in the back(not your din screw) so the heel moves back a little.

you have to get a flat head screw driver and push up on the lever once it snaps up, pull back on the heel

What does half yellow / black / white mean? Where are you looking.

I've never heard of this before, dont know much about setting up a binding though. Is it a way to measure the forward pressure, is it visible to see somewherE?

Oh wow, never noticed that, just got my new PX clamps and havn't gotten to ride them yet.

Thanks for the tip!

one of mine is good, right in the middle, but on the other it is alot more yellow. i tried fixing it but when i put it one click forward, there was too much black. w/e i never had a problem with them last year

it wouldnt work. i set it one click forward and there was too much pressure. i would rather have a little less than too much. plus the thing is a pain in the ass to flick up with a screw driver. it doesnt stay up and you have to hold the binding and screw driver there so it makes it so much harder
