Well fellow apple lovers (or haters, haha) if you're an iPhone/iTouch user who likes to mod, unlock, jailbreak, etc. your device...life may have just gotten a lot easier.

The iPhone dev team just released their much anticipated "PWNAGE" tool...check out the front page story on www.modmyifone.com Can't wait to see what all we can do with this, major ups to the dev team for putting in the work, and for making this all free. They rock.
 
I really want to buy an ipod touch, but apparently theres a new generation coming soon, and perhaps even the iphone (in canada) so im really torn.. These things make me want to buy one yesterday
 
If it were me...I'd wait. Only because it's awfully close to summer, and Apple is known for releasing the new technology coming out of Cupertino in June. The first iPhone release was in June, for instance, and there are rumors abounding about a new iPhone that supports video conferencing and 3G data transfer. Who knows, but I'd wait till June after the Dev conference and see what's up.

 
Yea Xave i'd wait, on ipodtouchfans.com they have a picture of a Sale sign at walmart for the 2nd gen so theyre coming and it should only be a few more weeks. Its waay worth it but they may come out with 2.0 on them so idk about the jailbreak-ability of it.
