PVC

iv used pvc for about 2 years of skiing, and the only time i ever catch edges is when i do broken grinds, and iv had seshes with other people and no one else does, so yeah you'll be fine

yeah it does, but only if its really cold, and if you like 270 on or something, so i just don't use mine if its below zero

pvc works great. ive caught a few edges on it but only when hitting it step on. if you have a legit setup you wont have any problems with pvc.

what is conduit? ive never heard of that.

im pretty sure conduit and pvc are basically the same thing. my rails made of it, but i just built it like a week ago and havent really got a chance to sesh it

Conduit is used for running wires that need a armour sheild you will see alot of it in plants with machines. It is along the walls. Its a Steel Tube and like 12buck for 10ft 1"

hmm, i guess there are different types of conduit, cause mines pvc, i didnt realize the name referred to its use, i thought it was just a softer pvc.

10' 1 1/4" pipes are like 7.50 CAD at home depot. i bought some the other day. they have 12' lengths at some stores too. if your scared about it shaddering see if you can find some schedule 80 pipe at a plumbing wholesale or something. but for the most part if you dont build your rail properly or if you use a big diameter pipe it might break. and dont confuse pvc with the black abs pipe because that will shatter in the winter.
