I built a double barrel PVC rail, but I haven't tried it yet, b/c I still need to biud an in run. But, I slid my skis on it, and it was resonably fast. I have been told that if you catch an edge you can screw the plastic up.

I ski in North Carolina. It's warm there too, but they should be cold and anowy by Nov. 9th. I'm building a backyard rail right now. It's gonna be dope when the entire thing is finished. ATLANTASKI and I will also hit up some urban.

me and my buddies use pvc for our backyard rail, so far the very end of our 4 inch diameter single pipe has cracked(it has thin walls) but our double barrel shotgun rail(2 2inch diameter thick pipes) has held up really well, stuff hardley wears down, and if it does its cheap to replace, and if you hook an edge, it usually takes a sliver off, but all you have to do is smooth that out with your edges or a file.

FUCK BIGGIE

As long as u use pvc thats bigger than 2' it should hold up and even if it breaks its cheap/easy as hell to replace it

pvc slides fine. i have a flat down flat and it takes quite a bit to crack it. and besides i don't think you'll be landing on it to hard if it's for some backyard setup

four 1/2 inch pvc pipes on a 2x4 wont crack.
