PVC rails with kinks

I want to build a down-flat-down rail with pvc. Any tips on how to build a kinked rail without separation at the kinks? Build a jib doesn't get to many responses so i'm posting here. Thanks.

the best option is to separate it at the kinks. or you can make all separate rails that way you can put them together which ever way you want.

yeah just put 3 together, you can set them up however you like

you could even do a DFD with elbows if you wanted, but it might fall over

yeah, the problem i would have with making 3 separate rails is that I want to put it on a hill, so i couldn't make kinks with separate rails. the base has to be flat and the rail will change plane.

Just cut the PVC and the 2x4 or whatever it's on at a 45 or so degree angle from the ends of the rail in, that way they can be set up in flat down style without any gaps of any kind. Then set the support legs in about 10 inches from the ends of the rails which will allow the ends to be right next to each other without the feet hitting, also reducing any gaps. This is also important for not hitting the rails during spins out.

That would make it a 45 degree DFD. That would be so fucking steep and he kink on that would be catchy as titties. Good idea just make the angles a little more mellow like a 30/60 cut so the down section would be 30 degrees and the kink would be much more mellow.

you could always pull a little sanding, that might help. it won't eliminate a gap but it might make ti a bit smootehr.

you probably won't get caught, just give a little hop or apply less pressure as you go over kinks. it's better for your edges and your legs if you don't slam your skis into kinks.
