PVC rail $

how much would it cost to make a sturdy 10-12 foot PVC rail?

and how much would it cost to make a 5 or 6 foot drop in?
 
20$? i wouldnt reccomend making one go to a junkyard and find some metal, if its cold at all it shatters if you try and air on...
 
what i did was get like a big beam of wood, then buy one 10 ft pvc rail and cut it in 2 and nail each side to the edge, this way you only need one pipe and it works just as well or better then just full pipes because the nails hold it better. a pvc rail is like 7 bucks where i live.
 
ur gunna want to make it longer than 10-12 ft, i have 1 that is 10ft, and its way to short but still fun to slide
 
I agree, PVC sucks. It's too slippery so it's nothing like metal, you can't build anything cool with it because it comes in 12ft lenghts and can't be welded, seriously people, just borrow someone's welder and weld your own.
 
yea pvc is cheap, and if u beat up a rail or something, you can replace easily. I would go with that, but i am building a rail made of metal this year.
