Pvc rail on fire

we are going to set our pvc rail on fire for our last summer sesh before school starts. i was just wondering what the best way to approach this is. should we just put a nice line of gasoline on the rail and hope the whole yard doesnt go up in flames, or what?

Not a very smart idea. PVC melts, lighting PVC on fire makes it melt, PVC that has partially melted gets sticky and releases some pretty harsh gases. If you are still doing it use gasoline and let Darwin take over.

yeah.. I don't think this will. Or if it does it will only work for a couple runs before your pvc is melting and the wood is burning. I don't know what it will do to you ski bases either. But I'm sure getting partially melted PVC wouldnt be a good idea. Anyways if you do decide to do make sure to video it and post it!

you know you can melt pvc with string right? It's actually one of the best ways to cut pvc. So actually setting it on fire will pretty much melt it right away. I don't think that this kid plans on riding through it, or he is retarded. Oh and you will be burning plastic. It's a bad idea to burn plastic no matter what it is. This just seems like a really bad idea filled with cancer.

I'm not sure how thats relevant to my post but that is certainly pretty cool I did not know that +k

it's pretty relevant, I was just saying how easily pvc melts with only a little bit of friction. So I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to burn it. Still, you really shouldn't do it and isn't it illegal to burn plastic/ rubber and things like that?

Oh I worded that weird. I know it will burn I'm just say if hes planning on skiing on it while its on fire it will either stick like a mother fucker right away (thats what I meant by I don't think this will)or in one or 2 runs.

fuck that ! try it a and film it i wanna see you try that.haha thats going to stick soooo badly.
