Pvc pipe question

Do pvc pipes wear out or become sticky after a while?

ive had mine for a while and they havnt worn out but one did break

and if they get sticky(in the summer, winter they wont) just spray them with a hose

if you dont put the screws through the top they will last way longer, and no they wont get sticky
