PVC or Metal?

Ok well im doing a backyard rail and I can buy 10 feet of PVC tube for 8$ and for 10 feet of metal its 25$. I would need two metal tubes for metal cuz its little and I dont have a welder so is there any way to atach metal to wood ?

So over all wich one of them would be better

PS. you cant do kinks and shit with PVC

pvc is easier to make and cheaper, but it does not make as good a rail. metal on the other hand is better quality but is more expensive and requires welding, which most people are not capable of.

pvc is good. we use it, and it's gotten us a couple years of backyard park. although it does wear out alot quicker, it's probably worth buying new pvc every so often rather than going through the trouble of paying more for metal and having to weld it.

Well you can only do strait rails with pvc though right? And is there a way to conect to peices of pvc to gether?

pvc is good, when u learn stuff, then its gay and sux for sliding, make a metal one, heres wat u do

get a 10 foot 2x4 and then drill a hole in each end of the metal tube, the drill a hole in the ends of the wood, then take a bolt, stick it thought the holes in the wood and the metal, and put the bolt in the tube, and for added support, get liquid nails, its like calk but it holds alot better and put that in the cracks between the metal and the wood

its nicer to grind on metal, but its pretty hard to make a metal rail cuz you have to weld and shit, i dunno, i use pvc cuz i don't wanna rent a welder but im thinking of making a matal one, also with pvc you can get smaller tubes (like and inch or two in diamiter) and then cut them inhalf and put them side by side

i would say pvc simply because its cheaper and easier to make. with that you can make 5 rails instead of just one metal one.

i have an american dream but it involves black masks and gasoline
 
yeah i think i will go with pvc cuz its much simpler and its less expensive
