PVC Cement?

I have heard about this product called PVC Cement. Supposedly i can fix cracks and other complications that occurs on PVC.

Has anyone used this?

yeah... this stuff works great. it dries really hard and you can sand it down so its smooth on ur rail. you can use it to fix cracks or put chipped pieces back on

It's pretty cheap, you can find them at like an ace hardware or homedepot for like 5 bucks for a small can.

Why not replace the PVC? I payed $1.43 for a 10ft section of 3/4in pvc.
