PVC Board or Plexi Glass?

I know I've talked to some of you cult members, but I need to know before I go out and buy it for sure. Anyone have experience with both pvc board and plexi? Which is better. I'm just worried about catching edges and plexi is pretty hard. PVC is a good price but it may be too soft. Thanks for any input in advance.

pvc will eventually break. plexi glass, i've never used but my friends and i are gunna build a box out of it so when we do i will let ya know

well pvc board comes in about six inch wide pieces so for somthin that wide it would cost alot its great for wide rails though
