k i dont know what this guys talking about dick shrinking and shit. but i didnt see your 14, you can still do this shit, i started lifting when i was 13 and it had no negative effects on my body you just won't be able to gain muscle as easily because your body isn't at that phase yet. So no you won't come close to gaining 20lbs in a year maybe 5 or 10, but thats still improvement.
 
why the hell does everyone associate lifting weights with steroids (that shrink your nuts not your dick by the way) and think that it will stunt your growth. unless you're an idiot it wont stunt your growth, i also started lifting when i was 13 because i have a home gym and now im like 2 years ahead of my friends who are just starting to lift now and the same height if not taller than most of them. also, your teens are the best time to lift because at your age or maybe next year, your testosterone will be spiking like crazy which will allow you to gain tons of muscle. aslong as you eat properly you can take advantage of your hormones at this age. you wont regret it
 
Yea man, good stuff. I actually also found that the workouts I did when I was 13-14-15 mostly arms and chest are super strong now. I'm still not very big because of my build (ectomorphic) and I'd have to take roids to change it, but my arms and chest are definately stronger than my friends who are way bigger than me. Just because of muscle memory. So lifting when your young is a good idea, it just gives you a head start.
