Yes but most of the jumps at my mountain are rutted out, tiny, and have chopped up crud for landings (especially 6 years ago when Tim posted this). They are a little better now, but still. I never spin past 5 at the resort just because it's so sketch.

If you are sent to Alaska as a pro, you are supposed to throw down on the big lines in front of the cameras, not go fuck yourself up and ruin the trip on some tiny ass jump. That would be just plain irresponsible.

I am a hundred percent sure of that, this guy was a substitute teacher who moved to anchorage from the lower 48, haha he was actually pretty cool and helped coach at the summer camp, but this thread does show my ignorance at the age of 16!
