There is this pro skier sponsored by line and sessions who showed up at my homemountian in AK and skied for a few weekends. There were tons of jumps and me and my buddies were hucking all day and this guy never even hit one jump. we asked him why and he said he didnt want to. this pissed me off, just because hes sponsored and super good he wont hit any jumps at my mountain, i think hes a total pussy and should never ride my mountain again.

 
You're right. Any pro that comes to a ski resort simply must hit the jumps. No exceptions. Absolutely. What a puss. He should be made to hit the jumps or be forever stripped of his Pro status. You should write Line a letter.

Sometimes people don't feel like hitting jumps. Just because he was sponsered doesn't mean he has to hit jumps all day. Especially if your in alaska.

I don't think vans dropped their skiers. As far as I know there isn't a pro skier sponsored by line and sessions. There may be some kid that has a bit of a hook up but no pro skier.

Could have been injured. It's stupid to risk getting injured if your not into it or not feelin it. Pro skiers have obligations like photo shoots, events and competitions. It would be a stupid business decision for one of them to risk getting hurt just so that some kid can watch if they aren't feeling like doing anything.

there is no pro skier who rides for both Line and Sessions... it was just a sponsored skier...yes there is a difference...

and he probably was still a sick skier... but everybody needs some time to chill..

i for sure take down days.. where i just chill around the mountain and ski groomers and puff.. theres no reason in hurting yourself trying to impress people.. you're on when you're on and thats how it is...

although he may have just been a pussy shit talker too... theres plenty of them around.. but who knows? haha

why should you care if he wasn't hitting jumps. everyone days where they don't feel like hucking, this could be because of a hangover or just flat out wants to freeride for a while!

You guys are all saying that he should be able to ski whatever he wanted right? I agree, but then you say he should be riding pow, what if instead he didnt want to ride pow and he'd rather just jump instead?

but dude, thats how you get hurt, I have gotten injured too many times by trying something when i wasnt feeling right, just because he is sponsored doesnt mean he has to risk getting injured for you, anyways skiing is for yourself not others. and if i was in ak i would be hucking cliffs and skiing pow all day!

yea a lot of people say they are sponsored then don't hit the jumps because they are 'to good for it' ...hahahaha not saying its true but i see it a lot of times...oh my gosh i wanna ski alaska sooo bad....thats my goall..ok i'll stop talking now

the skier wasnt hooked up to put a show on for you guys in ak... i'm sure he represents when he needs too.. and the chances of you guys buying line or sessions just from seeing him do a few sick tricks is pretty slim... nobody is hooked up just to put on a show for local skiers... theres alot more too it than that.

There's more than one type of skiing to be sponsored for. Ever heard of Jeremy Nobis, PY Leblanc, Ryan Oakden, Hugo Harrison and so on?

well this weekend at the resort there was no pow, it was all slush and all the cliffs had no snow on the top, so it made jumping them kinda difficult. But there were super nice lips that people built on everything and it was super soft and everybody was throwin down, so it suprisis me he didnt even hit a jump.

dude- that jump was soooooo gay. i dont blame this guy for not hitting it. it was all rutted out on the landing and on the takeoff. it sucked. i talked to this guy and he said that he was just waiting for camp to start until he threw down.

 
no, the jumps were sexy. The ruts were slush so no matter. and it seems whenever i dont go strait i end up not noticing the ruts.

I think a lot of pussy pro skiers are going to be mentioned in the new movie "Claim" by other pros. Looks like a good movie.
 
sometimes you just dont feel like hitting jumps, but if your a pro and you are visiting a new mountain, you definately should, cuz that would make line look bad. they should drop him if he doesnt rep the company well
 
dude pro's may be good but you gotta take into consideration how much time they spend huckign shit maybe they just wanted to shit the mountain and take a break
