so fucken bad..the sponsor logos, and tons of the shots. also the song for the japan seg used the word japan..just like the community project. seriously it's bad..fuck u msp u unoriginal bastards.

its also just straight up stupid to say that push was a rip off of community project. push is a ski movie. it has different people slaying shit to slow motion. community project is completely different, just even at the idea level....community project = travis rice + oakley riders pretty much. im sorry that they both have powder, rails, jumps, and pipes in them...if that is what makes someone copy someone else...this shits been done with for too long then. there is so much more that goes into it. maybe sorry on msp's part taht a skier happened to be doing someting similar to a shot you saw in comunity project. and HOLY SHIT !!! they said the same word in 2 songs OMG !!! ROFL !!!!
 
even meatheads backcountry killed matchsticks and they were skiing the worsed snow year in the east with way less of a budget than matchstick

have u seen comunity project? look at the intro of that..then look at the push intro. it's pathetic. just the intro is enough to make me really hate how unoriginal they are but they continue to copy shit all throughout the movie. i guess i'm the only one who noticed this.
 
guess what nig this movie was shot before community project it says 2003 on the box asshole t-hall is ridin old ass ar5's it was being made long before community project was
 
i didn't like push, and yeah it was exactly like community project it had people hitting rails, and jumping off cliffs, and hitting big jumps, and like the whole fucking movie was just video footage of people doing that.
 
The reason they have a budget like that is because they have been making good movies for years....so maybe if you make good movies for years, you might have a budget like that....Good Luck...
 
You do realize that NOTHING anyone does these days is original, right? Everything's been done, there's really no originality anymore. The only people who get credit for doing something "original" are the ones who make it seem original and get away with it. Even if they don't know what they're doing has been done, it's still been done.

MSP is better than you, so instead of bashing them on an internet forum, go work on filming and editing so one day you can be be 1/10th the filmmakers they are.
 
there budget wasnt just given to them. they earned it by making quality movies. so how about you earn a budget like theirs. then, make a better movie.
 
As a film maker, dude you should shut the fuck up. MSP has been around longer than alot of the film companies in out industry. After awhile, everyones work begins to look the same. And the fact of the matter is, you dont need japan, or anything like that to make a movie. You need creativity, and a personable personality to make a good movie, and a creative project, i have a 900 dollar budget for my film this year, and because i work hard, and dont just film on days i feel like it, i film every day i go out, i sacrafice my own skiing season to do this. Its the same thing people at MSP, and most film companies do from what i've seen. Now obviously with a company of that size, everyone can get there off time. But it pisses me off that kids like you are constantly bitching about movies, and about different things in skiing. Watching your trailer, i'm the least bit impressed. You arent touching some of the am-film makers out there. Because your attitude towards half the companies and movies out there. If you see something that you dont like, do it better, dont bitch about it.

Everyone does what they want to do, now i do see things in movies and use them, like shots and what not, but i also try to create new ones, if alot of people like a movie, that is going to push more companies in that direction to draw more people into seeing their film. Everyone copies someone else, as do you. If you set up a tripod to get a shot, are you not copying someone? Since nearly everyone uses tripods. So i would be willing to give you that budget, and give you the equipment to make a movie like that and would put down 100 grand that you couldnt even match it because of how much of an arrogant prick you are. You wont be respected because of your outlook on the ski film industry, people work their asses off, and work sometimes 14 hrs a day for a month straight to finish a movie. So please gain some respect, and if you dont like something find a way to make it better or be more creative.

Creativity doesnt cost anything, it just takes not being an arrogant ass whole, that has no respect for fellow film makers out there who have earned their way to the top!

You are entitled to your opinion, but maybe you should work for a ski film company before you start talking yourself all big.
 
Have you seen long story short? Its mostly east coasters well origanally L1P productions was eastcoast I know most of the skiing was at keystone though so how can you say you hate eastcoasters you should be happy you have snow

I thought push was dope, just because you don't like watching big mountain skiing doesn't mean that the movie sucked. It didn't have the urban and park segments that other movies had, but I still think that it was really good.

does it suck complete balls? ya, but only because msp has made the samemovie since ski movie 2... not becuase it rips off a sb movie.
