Can you help me find something on the internet about "Puritan Government"?

I googled "Puritan Government" and didn't get good results.

I have to write a 200 word paper (two paragraphs) on some aspect of Puritan Government.

In early America especially Boston area there was a very prominent Puritan society that was basically like a government. I don't know if it has to be modern...
 
first to have town meetings, wrote in there law that every town must have a teacher so they learn the bible. valued education.
 
just type in puritan and click anything religous, they base there society off their cult
 
how on earth did people do homework before the internet?

oh yeah, textbooks and the library. america's next generation is going to be worthless.
