Anyone here go to purdue, or rather will be there next year? Looking forward to go next year and I was just wondering if I'll see any NSer's there next year.

On a completely different topic, does anyone know of any good head shops up at West Lafayette. A web search pulled up nothing and I can't really look in a phone book. I have to go up there in a month to schedule classes and I wanted to meet the shop owner to get a good rep going with him for the next 4 years.
 
Amused is the place you're looking for. Its right on the hill by Boiler Market and acrossed the street from Harry's. There's one out on 26 too, but thats way off campus. Other than that, there really isnt much, and I haven't met anyone else that skis up here either.
 
kinda late but.... but my sis is goin their next year... ill be there in 3 years... if that helps o by the way.... E'Twan Moore is the bomb....
 
i went there 3 years ago.. join the ski club its pretty huge.. no one is necessarily that good or enthusiastic but they get cheap trips and the socials were always pretty rad in my day... there are some pretty nice rails if you look into it..
 
I don't know of any shops up at purdue. The only legit shop in indy is rusted moon. It's in broadripple and the people who work there are pretty cool. Only issue, they don't have any good twin tips in stock.

I'm in indy, but if you ever want to ride or hit some urban once the white stuff falls, let me know.
 
Agreed, Amused is pretty much the only place...over priced, just dont say the B word!

Not real? Can you be serious? I guess we take the purdue athletics too far, reguardless...I have a Nike XXL that just says 3, that ones more legit? I wast selling a signed piece of gear with an seal of authenticity, its a 3, its not made by nike its starter, im sure they didnt just arbitrarily pick the number 3...point being its a Purdue BBall jersey

and there are several fattys on campus, not sure how the heat is in the winter with urban "busts" also does anyone else by chance ride street on a MT bike? Just looking for some other people to ride with....

Is there anyone at PU who skied Perfect North Slopes a lot? I was walking back from class the other day and I swear I saw someone I recognized. We've ridden up the lift together before I'm sure of it. And I'm pretty sure you have or had Salomon Foils. Whatever year it was the blue and white ones. ARe you out there?!@

The first Purdue Ski CLub meeting/social is next Wed. Oct. 1st at Jakes 7-9pm, you have to have paid dues by then, me thinks... Screening of Lost and Found, along with FREE food, DRINKS, and Ski shit

Ugh. I'm displaced from NEPA and big boulder. I just graduated from PSU and am at Xavier for grad school...i'm dying here. we should hit up perfect north slopes sometime. By the way, after we take care of illinois tomorrow, purdue is next.

Perfects is like 2.5-3 hours away depending on traffic and how fast you go. But totally doable for night skiing. Friday night just head over after your last class and ski till 1
 
ah.... im thinkin they may have put one out by the new arnett hospital by subaru on the other side of town from purdue like around the walmart there by the i65 exit maybe..... i have no idea tho.....
 
I have met 1 other legit skier on campus (was in my FNR class) I have recognized what i did see as "NS potential" wherethe fuck are you all... We have a kegger nearly every friday...i know yall aint doin shit...

dude just break in to ross-ade, all the rails are short, except in the john purdue section haha, i could see it now in the jc... "skier tries to make a night at ross-ade happy, after painter blows another game...."
lol seriously though, i think there are some okay ones at the west lafayette amphitheatre and around there.... or in the front of the vetrans home facing the river...

I can't wait till break and I can be up at perfect's every day. All Y'all better come up and say whats up at the loft shop. I'm bummed i haven't met any purdue skiers. Fuck 1st semester bullshit and all that
 
we're actually going up saturday and partying at a guy's hsuoe and then going sunday... if you're up there on saturday, call me.
