Purchasing Laptop Help

So guys, I'm about to buy a laptop for senior year/college, and i was just wondering if anyone out there has something super legit that they could let me know about

games aren't really important to me, i've got a 360 for that

what is important is:

-graphics quality

- at least 4 gigs of RAM

-LARGE HARD DRIVE, i have hellla movies. i know i can get an external one too, but the larger it is on the laptop, the better

-decent for picture/video editing

-high processor speed

and i'm not really looking to pay over 1800$

So farI'm looking at a 15 inch macbook pro so far, the 2.6 GHz model

any other suggestions? your input is appreciated
 
i got a dell studio xps, one on the best pc's. buy a mac book pro, or just a macbook. they work the way computers should work. but i dont have windows 7 so that might change things
