So for the past week i was with a group of friends in montreal, and one night we headed downtown to the stripclub, super sex, which was fun...very fun. while we're standing outside the club on saint catherine's st, this black kid reaches into my friend's pocket and steals in his cell phone.

me and my 6'7" friend follow the kid that stole the cell phone and get him and his 4 friends cornered.

now while i'm looking at my friend who's getting in the kid's face who has the phone, a black kid with a grill sucker punches me, but luckily enough, he's about as strong as a 4 year old. as soon as he hits me, my friend gets his head split open with a bottle and all 4 of them take off. we chased them but to no avail.

thats my story, so next time you're in montreal, no letting strangers play pocket pool in your pants.
 
my freind got beaten up and stabbed with a bottle in aukland they took his clothes too i think
 
Montreal is a hard city. I was around the same place as you and a guy put a big butcher knife on my friends body and ask him money
 
Are you serious? St-Cat's is pretty crowded... that sounds sorta very horrible. Having lived in Montreal for the past 19 years I am glad to say none of these random situations has happend to me. But yeah, Super Sex, peel pub(old location) are on the sketchier side I guess.
 
I don't know what it is with French and pick pockets. Go over to France for a week and I garuntee you that you will have been tried to be, or have been pick pocketed at least twice.
 
man how many times has that been said on NS? I was a good stroy compared to most of the shit on NS, so you should shut the fuck up. Besides that isn't in the slightest bit comical.

damn if i were you i'd have kicked the shit out of them before they'd have a chance to pull somehting like that... liek last night i just about go into a fught with a guy that was throwing a house party cause i just heard a party going on and me and a buddy just walked asked people what was goin on and stuff and yah this gug totally didnt want us there and i was about to kick his ass and my buddy was like fuck it this is shit anyways lets leave, and i was contemplating kicking his ass before i left.. or just leaving.. so i just left...
 
WOW man, you are such a fucking bad ass. You totally almost pulled such a rebel move man!!!! You had a chance to completely disregard the wishes of the party host and disrespect him at his own party for no reason. Damn man, you should have totally done that. Around here, the kids like you are the ones that get the shit beaten out of them. If a kid doesn't fucking want you there, leave. It's his party. Maybe he doesn't want aggressive, ego filled strong men trying to run his party.

My Grandma lives in down town Hamilton and she's super racist. She hates black kids, and she has reason to, they are all thugs that go around mugging people and selling drugs. I'm glad I'm a country yokel!
 
what can i say, montreal is full of straight G's. rive-sud, t'entends? on represent la rive-sud.
 
I know this is sacarstic but:

I hate when people think that. Damn quebecers don't understand when french people speak and french don't understand quebecers. We don't even have the same vocabulary
 
Just because your friend is 6'7" doesn't mean he is going to be able to beat up someone half his size. And getting a bottle smashed over his head doesn't surprise me. You probably could have gotten your wallet back if you had just not followed the person but went up and took it back right away. When you cornered him and his friends you gave them a chance to hit you back... just because you think you can intimidate someone doesn't mean you can beat them. but it sucks about your wallet, not much you can do about it when it happens.
 
when my friend's cell got taken, he didn't even realize it at first. it took him a like 2 seconds to realize the phone was gone. thats why we chased the kids.

as for my friend being 6'7", he's also a fighter, and when you're skinny, and half his size, a bottle of bacardi rum is your only defense.
