Puffy's, bad waterproofing, really warm, are they worth it?

is it worth it to get a puffy jacket that is really warm but with only 1000 waterproofing, it has 400 fill duck insulation, and it says it is only water resistant, so is it worth it to get a warmer less waterproof jacket?

You can find puffy's with 10,000 waterproofing.

If I'm not mistaken you were looking for an XS jacket. Here's a puffy with a fur hood, for cheap, not to mention 8,000.

well, if its cold enough for a puffy, its too cold for rain, if you're in the east, you don't need good waterproofing for snow

^Not a second, but probably two.

Just buy this and a thermal fleece, you'll be warm enough. It has 10,000 so you'll stay dry.

yo just see if scotch guard will work...im bought the siver stuka and it only has 1000mm, i live on the east coast........im gonna see if i can waterproof it.......
