Public Park

i liked the jumps.. but not the last one, yeah, kinda sketch. but the third was sooooo fun. rails were allright. always landed on the flat on the DFD tho. gotta go so slow and pop sooo much to get on it right. but yeah. is monday the day? whens everyone ehading up. we shuold jjust get a fatty mob doing laps all day

it feels like the Autobahn when your mobbin between the tables... then you realize you probably should be skiing at a more "residential neighborhood" speed to clear it, but its too late. 50 feet and 360 degrees later my face is skidding across the snow. IT was neat

im so stoked to hear public park is really good
i am going to coming out for 4 or 5 days STOKED
now i dont have to make a thread about this cus my question was just answered

yo whens the best time to head out to mt hood? and how much are day tickets? do they do like a weekly price or anything?

well any time soon is good, its way dope and the pipe is really good right now. tickets are $50 though so that kinda sucks. but what ev your skiin in the summer

it will probaly be sick as always, and they will probaly still have a huge amount of snow up there around that time. Just look at the webcams and you will be amazed. soooo much snow this year, they still have a base of 150, and thats just at the lodge.

A base of 150 at the lodge is absolute crap, there is no chance that is close to accurate. There is and will be plenty of snow, the park should be really sick. T line is doing a really sick job with the park

Whats the size like on the jumps right now? I'm tryin to decide if I want to come on saturday, but I want the park to be worth it for a 10 hour drive and 50 dollars a day.

Its dope, the all the jumps are really big floaty and fun. The second jump is death in the morning kids were going 70 feet to flat. In the afternoon its fine. The first one is big second one two and the third is a step up. Hopefully they add more rails cause they only had two when i went up.

Its worth it but i would suggest cliping a ticket from racers who leave at 9 or 10 or just hiking and saving the 50 bucks

how do you think it will be in early aug this year? i might make the drive fom salt lake as long as theres some dece tabes to sssion

yeah the park was pretty darn fun yesterday, the jumps are nice, there are just no rails

Yup, we hit it up. It was a good time, but the take-offs on the jumps need work, and as well you had to skip the pipe to get speed. Fun rails though (although they took out 2 sick ones during the course of the day), and you can almost ski to the bottom of the mile still!

im thinking of driving there from colorado in a couple days, is it worth it right now? i was there way earlier in the summer when it was like raining and super cold and it sucked ass, so i wanna go back.

what all do they have set up? is it worth like 600 bucks?
