Public Enemy or 1260

i got 164 1260s and my friends got PEs. i personaly like the lines more. he has them mounted pretty far back compared to the near center bindings on mine. both are good skis, with similar weights and flexes, so i would go with what ever is cheaper. if you ski pow, get the PEs. its a little better all mountain

lines aren't even real skis...they are made of cardboard...like a wet noodle. The pe's rock, they have a nice stiff tail and they rock period...shouldn't even be a question. Only people that can't really ski use lines.

How can you say that the 1260 and Public Enemy have similair flexes?

That is the most ignorant statement I have ever heard. The 1260's dont flex they bend...in half.

public enemy for the studs. i heard they don't react very fast though

I realize opinion is important and all, but what the fuck is everyone's problem? People are always looking for advice on stuff and everyone's always all 'that ski licks balls' or other 'advice' that's utterly useless. Every ski or other ski equipment or gear on here 'sucks balls' according to someone. Claims like Line skis aren't for real skiers etc., Fuck you man, what do you know? Do you think maybe you've lost sight of why you ski at all and now you've got nothing better to do than narc on equipment you don't like? You don't like Line's don't buy them, who gives a shit what skis other people ride. End of rant, in answer to the original question I'm all about Line but I'd have to do with the PE's on this one, those skis are fucking sick and like someone said way better all mountain.

hey billy, i have 1260s, and my friend has Pe's we switch off all the time, and both skis ski similar. the 1260s are good skis, and are def. lighter than the PEs, but arnt nearly as good in pow. i think the 1260s have more pop, which is good if your doin alot of kickers, and it makes it easier to ollie and manual. Also, people dissin lines, how can you? i love these skis in the park. granted, they are only 164, and too short for me (they only come up to my lips) but they ski great. The long tail and full tip makes switch skiing real easy, and they spin like nothing else.

guess what there is an equipment forum so I dont have to see you fags bickering over whose equipment is better

if your in the park pretty much all day go with the 1260. they are light, spin easy, grab easy, and are just plain made for riding park. PE's are great for all mountain and also good in the park. so- if you ski more than just park get PEs. if yur just getting a park ski and have another set of sticks for all mountain, you are a rich bastard and should donate money to someone like me who needs some new boots. So, please email me @ seanmcintosh14@hotmail.com to get my addres and send donations to the 'BUY SEAN NEW SKI BOOTS FUND'

thank u

ok, get asked this alot, and this is the answer. you really cant do straight manuals down the hill like a snowboard. dont have the right leverage. however, you can hit a small table or box, and while in the air, drag your tails over, and then either land or spin out of it. but my favorite manual trick is to get on your edges, and put all your weight on the back of your skis, if you do it right, you can manual a good distance, and then it will throw you around 180. real fun way to switch up. then, while your skiing fakie, you cando the same thing, edge your skis, and with practice, you can pop up and throw 180s and 360s around. it looks sooo much cooler than just jumpin or spinnin on snow. and, instead of just jumping on skis, you can ollie skis just like a skateboard. same motions. you just load up the tails, and pop up and forward. i can jump like 2wice as high this way, compared to just jumping off the snow.

No actually, the 1260's and the PE don't ski anything alike. Not even close. The 1260 is a park specific ski, where as if you like to go skiing, the PE is much more versatile. The 1260 is a center-mounted effort while the PE gives you more tip than tail. PE has more float in powder and is a better ski. 1260 is for jumping and transition. Go try and hit a race course with 1260s and see how versatile they are when carving hard. Ha!

actually my friend has the old orange 160s and he has his bindings center mounted and he can lean back on his skis and manuel all the way down a hill. it looks pretty dang tight.

Sometimes it just takes lots of practice and the will to beat your face in, get back up, and do it again is what it's all about.....

Both of these skis have fucking huge tails, which makes switch tricks alot more comfortable. I personally like the PEs alot more, they are alot wider and more stable, and they ski really smooth. But seriously, this years 1080s Blow both those fuckers away with all mountain and park becuase they are so light and flexible, they let you pop so fuckin high...PCE

Hahahahaha. personal opinion gets in the way of fact once again. Anyone that knows anything about skis and their construction will tell you that the PEs and the Troublemakers set the standard for ollie power. As for all mountain, sorry, the PE just does it better. I'm not sure you've had the experience on both as I have. the PE is based off the performance of a staple all mountain ski, the old construction Enemy which was essentially the chasis of a mid-fat powerhouse in it's heyday, the Explorer. So, that being said, try them both, get waht works, but don't 'ski' on a 1260.

yea pes theyre semi fat too so u can still ski pow pretty easy
