Public Enemy mounting

alright I just got a new pair of pe 179 it seems that the rage is to mount them at +3. I skiied 179 1080's last year mounted normal. Is this gonna be too drastic of a change? help me out here guys and gals. -thanks

i have mine at 2 and a half and i can land fakie fine, and it's better in the powder. It is also good on rails at this setting.

it all depends on what you ski, if you ski mostly park go +3, if not +2 and a half is fine. If you don't like where it is mounted k2 will still warranty it as long as you only remount once.

Mine are mounted at +4, and they ski fine all over the place. Its not going to be that huge of a difference to mount them at +3. You shouldnt be worried about it.

or you could just mount them at the recommended spot. theres still enough tail. 2-3 cm doesnt make that much of a difference

Ok, you are def gunna want like 3 cm more tail then nose, beacuse of the unique flex pattern in this ski. Also, you want to get cheaper bindings, because bindings on PEs break alot

most of the K2 riders ride em at true center, which is 7.5 cm foward of the standard mounting point (which is marked on the PEs). however most people do mount them around 3-5 cm foward. it all depends on how your are going to ski them. if its gonna be a true park ski and you're not planning on riding them all mountain, then i would go for 5 or 6 cm foward, but if you plan on riding them more all around and some park, i would recomend 3 or 4 cm foward.

mine are at +3 but i want them at least +6 but +3 is fine for everything. if you ride more park go much further forward
