the more forward you mount it, the shorter you make your turning radius. this is neither good nor bad, as long as it is what you want, and you know how what you do affects how they ski. it won't make it 'ski shitty' as someone said or something like that, you may even prefer a forward mount for all-mountain, but just know that it does make a differance.
