ok here is the deal from k2.....70 percent park....this 70 percent though is broken into catagories its a 13% switch ski. 20% pipe ski, 7% unnatural in the pipe but 10% in the park. which leaves rails and regular jumps with 20% of its power.

the other 30 percent goes to carving, bumps, steeps, deeps and of course pondskimming suprisingly the pe is designed for 25% pondskimming. so when you people talk about percentages talk about all of them. it helps people out.

Man I demoed them last year and i have a pair on the way to my house now that I just ordered. I have also skiied on 1080's, a few different pairs by line, and scratches but I like the PE's the most. I found them fairly stable at higher speeds and pretty good for carving it up even on groomers, I took them on double blacks at banff that were all moguls and rocks and shit and had no problem, going as fast as i possibly could. And in the park, oh wow, they are amazing, they ride power pretty well too because they are pretty wide. All in all an awesome ski - they are a lot like the scratches really but i like the PE's a bit more, plus they look sicker. buy them you won't regret it

 
The PE's are the best all-around twin tip I've ever ridden. And yes they're fine at high speeds....I've hit around 50 MPH carving switch on them so I would say that qualifies as stable.
