Public Enemies

I just skied my public enemies this weekend and i didnt think i beat them that hard but there are already two chunks out of the sides of them. Is it the skis that chip easily or am i just over protective of my new skis?

7 springs, ohh yeahhh

mine have some chips off the clear coat after 4 days of use...i think it's the way the side walls are inlayed with the top sheet. I don't really care though, not too concerned about the visuals of my ski...as long as the rip down the mtn I'm not too concerned.

skiing so fun it may cause loss of bladder control

my friend put another topsheet on his, says it works good. Mine are also getting nicks/gashes, not too much. hope that helps.

The top sheet of my PE was fucked so I brought it into the shop and they said that the new skis(all brands) are being made with a differnt material on the top sheet and it chips easier but it won't effect your riding.

the chunks are from your edges digging into the sidewall of the other ski. i have tons of those. it will happen with all skis that have sidewall construction. i don't think it really hurts it too much, just doesn't look as good
