Ptex

how do u think it would work if i filled up missing edge with ptex just fer my urbans to make um last longer
 
should work just fine but dont expect to do any turning not that that matters tho for urban
 
unless you baseweld it in, its gonna rip right out, i tried it. i have no edges left on my 1080s so i filled the gaps in with ptex and it pretty much all ripped out. use epoxy or surfboard resin or something if you want it to stay in to keep the water from getting into the core.
 
epoxy is sold at home depot, and baseweld you can probably get from a shop or have them do it because you need a high heat source.
 
then which would u suggest using, cause i dont have alot of money and what kinda epoxy cause arent there different kinds?
 
Epoxy is pretty cheap 5-10$. It depends on what you are doing with it. If ur doing something with helicoils or anything with screws involved go w/ the machinable epoxy. If your doing general repair to the topsheet just get the regular stuff or even the colored epoxy. Be sure to check the temp. ranges on the epoxy so it will hold together.
