Psychology in music

so I have to do a project for psychology where I talk about different defence mechanisms and gender identity and identity crisises in music. So far I talk about whats my age again by blink 182 and i dont know by the F-ups. Do any of you guys know any other good songs I could write about? Thanks for any help.

For the psychology in music, look into the book This is Your Brain on Music. I forget the name of the author, but I did read it and it is very informative about how and why our brains translate certain sounds into music and what effect they have on us.
