Psoas Major Muscle

I recently pulled my Psoas Major muscle. Did a search and couldn't find anything on here. Anyone on here have any experience pulling it, or have experience in sports medicine or anything? I'm wondering how long recovery time for you took, etc. +K for help.

Healing time is an individual thing. Go to your dr and get a prescription for pt and or sports massage. They will both help an insane amount. PM me if you have specific questions. I work with this kinda stuff.

I have never specifically injured this muscle. I am currently doing my masters in kinesiology, and as mama pointed out, I would be very hesitant to do any form of exercise prescription without being able see your mobility or have a proper diagnosis from a doctor or PT. I do have some general exercises I could give to you if you want to PM me, but I would need a little more information on the injury, who you have seen.

RICE - Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation. - Can't really elevate your lower back though. Good Luck
