PSIA freestyle certification?

I don't know why I never see anything on here about PSIA (Professional Ski Instructors of America) but still had to ask someone...

So i recently passed my level 1 cert and I was wondering if i should go for my level 1 freestyle next year. I love teaching and I love park, I could easily hit all of the stuff that they ask for, and prob teach it too. But I don't know if I want to go through all of the training and testing etc. Has anyone o here gone through the program? Any recommendations are helpful.

I heard several shitty stories about Psia over the last few years. Can't remember much about it, but it sounded like they may not like park skiers

from what I know which isnt a whole lot the park program for PSIA isn't really worth it

I'm actually doing my PSIA level 1 right now (today and tomorrow). So far I've learned some cool teaching tricks but from what I gather the freestyle aspect of PSIA isn't too strong.

Yea, most places won't hire you unless you have it. Just cause of the whole liability thing.
