i just took the psat this morning and it sucked so fucking much. i was in school for 3 hours at the crack of fucking dawn on a saturday, anyone else take it?
 
PSAT's are so stupid. If you do well, you get a scholarship... big deal! If you can do well on PSAT's you can do well on SAT's, which will get you an even better chance of getting a scholarship and into schools. I just think they're pointless, because if you just take the sat's and do well, great! if you do poorly, take them again!
 
I took them, but ours was on a school day, so we missed all our morning classes. Also i thought they were easy? anyone else think that?
 
That tset was redculous, In the second math part where it wasnt multiple choice, i only did two of them and probally got them wrong.
 
The math came pretty easy to me. I had trouble and didnt even finish one of the literature/vocabulary sections.
 
i took it and im a freshman... i thought the math was pretty easy except for like 4 problems that had things i hadnt learned yet. I didnt like the vocab cause we dont really learn vocab until like the 2nd half of the school year.
 
I dont know if everybody in the country has the same PSAT but i thought the ones i took this morning were pretty easy. Math i possibly could've gotten 80 and critical reading was easy. The only hard part was the writing section and that wasnt that bad.
 
I thought the writing was pretty easy. all you had to do was pick the least fucked up sentence, or whatever one made more sense. I thought the math was hard. the second math, where it wasn't multiple coice, I left half blank. I sat there and drew christmas trees on the test instead, because I couldn't focus.
 
thats not necessarily true, I got into the National Merit Scholarship thing from my PSAT scores, which makes me eligible for a LOT of money, so I don't think it is a waste of time.
 
i am taking the psat as soon as i finish the 1st semester of my junior year. i am actually looking forward to it
 
im not lieing, im a freshmen. Im just like really accellerated in math. I took Accelerated Geometry in 8th grade (the 9th grade accelerated math course) and now im taking accelerated algebra II (the 10th grade accelerated math course)
 
yea, i took it this morning. i didnt think it was hard, it just sucked being at school so early... the math was a lot easier than i thought. it makes a lot of sense to take it. its cheap, it prepares you for the real SAT, and, at least for me, it sends you back what you didnt wrong and what you need to work on for the real sat.
 
math was super easy

but the writng/ literary part or watevr was jst the opposite

i didnt finish any of those sections

but the math/ it was like too easy some of it
 
i took it today. really boring and i was getting all hot becaues the window was open and the sun was shining on my back the whole time! started at 7:30 ended at 10:40
 
I took it this morning also. It was lame...but I was in a really good mood because on the drive to school it was snowing like crazy. Then once the test started it was blue skies. It's kind of how my day went....good to really bad. Waking up at 6:45 on a weekend is not good.

And the 2nd math...I had no idea. I think I put 100 or 2 for every other answer...and didn't answer three. The writing and vocab was easy. We were all sharing answers at my table though.

All in all, the test was a waste of my fucking time.
 
yeah that sucks i wouldnt have taken it if it was on a saturday we took it wednesday morning... beats sittin in class listenin to a teacher bitch, it was alot easier than last years though
 
i had no clue that there were so many word in out language, so fuckin hard. the math was easy though except for 2 questions... i don know it everyones was the same but one was about a party wiht pizza, cake and salad which was mad hard... i guess well just see how everyone did in december
 
i read that one and started laughing for some reason. don't know why. then i cried cuz i didn't know the answer.
 
I aced that shit. took it out. well not really, but most of it was pretty easy. The math was like elementary algebra. It made me feel smart. but then i got to the literary parts and I felt dumb again cause i didnt know half those words
 
how were u in for 3 hours if it was only a psat, sat takes 3 hours 45 mins but psat is like less then half the length?

yeah i got my results back from last week takin a sat which didnt count n i got a 52 on grammar haha i thoguht it was hilarious
