OK, first off i have an xbox 360, very good game system, graphics are very good and everything

Now what i was wondering is, does anybody on here have an Ps3, i have heard and read that the xbox360 is just as good and maybe better, i know the ps3 puts your games and movies in HD(which is why it costs so much)but i think you can buy a cord for the xbox360 to do the same thing.

So which is better...?
 
no, not really.

PS3 has the new blu ray dvd reader built in. If you look at best buy, blue ray dvd readers sell for over a thousand. Sony loses 400$ on every ps3 they sell.

Also, in a year when game companies figure out ps3's new code, they say that the graphics will be better than real life.
 
Not to mention that the blu-ray disk hold A TON more stuff in it. In theory you could have a game that lasts 1000 hours on one disk.
 
Blu-ray disks currently hold up to 50 gb of data, where the largest DVDs were only about 8. They are also working on experimental 8 layer blu-ray disks that hold 200+ gb of data. Like someone said earlier, sony loses 400 at least for every ps3 they sell cause of the cost of blu-ray players.

Buying a ps3 is quite the steal actually.

i'm gonna say that wii60 kills all, i have a wii and am in freakin' love with it, zelda and wii sports are insane!!!!

and if u want the high graphics and online end, 360 kills all with features and a reasonable price.

sony screwed up this year, live with it.
 
does anyone else remember all the threads saying how the 360 sucked when it came out? cuz i do, give it time and it will be sick

and not to mention to add to all you ps3 is better than xbox 360 lovers, the graphics are basically the same, also on ign.com, according to the top 100 games, the FIRST ps3 game is number 16 the 1st xbox360 game is 2nd
 
they dont lose 400 a sale, people are just retarded. say best buy sells the ps3 for 600. that means they bought it from sony for 300.

say a bluray palyer sells for 1000, best buy bought it for 500.

500-300, the most they lose is 200
 
Imagine how small it would be playing on one screen. 4 is pretty small as it is but 7 would be impossible to see anything
 
unles you had a big screen tv that would be amazing

but on a tv like the one my ps2 is hooked up to 7 players would suck

has anyone played Dead Rising? fucking sickest game ever, although one of my friends says it ruins your xbox's processor...has anyone else heard of this bad tragity?
 
how can graphics be better than real life?

and the point i've been making to everyone is that they should have hesitated with the blue ray in the ps3 until the knew how the fuck to use it.
 
i heard that ps3's burn a code into every game the first time it is played, and the game will only work on that ps3, and not on any other ps3 console, has anybody else heard of this
 
no dude your fucking retarded sony wouldnt make a product that will make them lose 400 bucks a sale thats so much the goal in life is to make money not lose it if they were losing 400 a sale they would obviously not make that product
 
Every system has problems when it comes out. I heard that Xbox 360 had some of the same problems the original Xbox had when it came out. I'll definitely be getting a PS3 eventually, just not yet. 360 is sweet though, Wii looks like a whole bunch of fun, I'm such a die hard Sony fan, and I'm pretty sure that it'll end up on top again.
 
lol, you think xbox360 has nice graphics? just wait until the PS4 comes out. these are actual in-game pics of GTA: New York that is all rendered real time and will release only for PS4

haha yeah, games wouldn't even be fun like that. especially gta, where it's classically known to not have revolutionary graphics.
 
Why wouldn't Sony sacrifice $400 on a console when game companies pay millions for liscensing. Do you think MS or Nintendo make a lot from selling consoles?
