Ps3 wifi adapter?

Ok so I need to make my ps3 wifi capable (I have the original ps3) I have looked all over trying to find something that will work. All I have been able to find are dongles that plug into your PC. I'm not really sure how this concept works but I dont have acess to any hardwire internet and I'm stealing wifi from my neighbor. And if this PC dongle somehow will work is it PC specific or will it work in my Mac. Thanks
 
I dont think we had to. But, I dont remember. I would assume it wouldnt be too hard to find out how to get it to search with some semi-extensive google searching.
 
go to your settings and set it up for a wireless connection. its that easy. i have the same one
 
when the ps3 first shipped, the $600 model had wifi, the $500 did not. when the consol was refreshed a few months later, all models became stock with wifi
