Ps3 vs. wii - apple style!

hmmm. well...based on what i know about the two systems...the ps3 has 2 letters and a number, while the wii has 3 letters. 2 numbers and a letter < 3 letters. ps3 wins.
 
honestly that was funny but whoever chooses a wii over a ps3 is a fucking idiot. next gen grand theft auto? metal gear solid 4 ? cmon. the wii is going to have mario and the same old shit. zelda will be cool but the gamecube was a failure and i think this will be too

 
no wayyy man, those are just advancements of things we have seen before, nothing new or spectactular, wii can blow all of our minds...of coarse it could be a complete let down.....but still i am way more excited for wii then a ps3.

what the hell are you talking about? its the same controller as the ps2 just without the wire.

and don't expect any good games for the wii except for zelda and maybe a mario. they are all going to be kids games like the gamecube.

dude, you're dumb. Gamecube had wario ware, mario party, mario tennis, mario golf, and tons of other amazin mario games. The wii is only gonna be even more fun with the crazy party games where everyone is wavin around. The wii isnt trying to recreate gaming on a high end pc its trying to reinvent gaming.
 
actually you apear to be the dumb one. if you actually payed attention to the video game community you would know that the best games of recent years, expect metroid and zelda which you didn't mention, came out on the ps2 or xbox. great nintendo has party games. i don't know about you but the parties i go to the people aren't playing nintendo. most nintendo games are marketed toward kids. you aren't going to see the amazing games on the wii like halo, gta, metal gear solid, etc. if you want to play kids and party games by all means buy a wii but if you want to play the best video games on the market get a ps3 or xbox 360.
 
zelda, metroid, super smash brothers: brawl, and many more + classic nintendo games available for download...sounds like a winner to me.
 
i dunno dude, you can use the controller as a bat, you can use it as a sword, and yah it's got multi purposes(sp?)
 
gamecube had Resident evil 4, soul calibur, perfect dark and some other good "adult" games, not just mario.

But i'd buy a wii, just for the new Zelda (wich was voted best videogame series by gamefaqs, beating final fantasy)
