Ps3/tv help

so I just moved into my apartment at school, and have a nice philips tv, and I have a problem

I can play my ps3 on it fine, but when i put a blu ray or dvd in it, it works fine too, but the only color is green, what the hell? the movie runs fine but its just all green, and its really fucked up, can anyone help me at all, im sure its a setting i may have to change but any help would be great, thanks.

on the tv, the only option for the av settings is "Reset AV settings", aND THEN IT Sys to erse settings and reset them to their default values, please press ok

sorry not av. picture settings. what kind of cables are you using?

hmm...only thing i can tell you is to redo your video settings. If that doesn't work either make sure you tv supports blu ray quality and or send your ps3 back for maintnance.

check the picture settings on your ps3? there could be alternate settings for blu ray?

check the connection on the HDMI cable. This happened to me using a crappy component cable I don't see why it would happen with HDMI.
