Ps3 slim is official, price drop coming

the rumours we have been hearing for a while now are officially true, sony will be dropping the 120gb PS3 slim in september, and the original ps3 will recieve a price-drop of 100$. Both the ps3 slim and the original will retail at $299.

The original ps3 price cut is in effect tmrw.

Now i can finally buy a ps3 and play metal gear solid 4!
 
sony needs to make sales and i guess this will help them out, i would rather play my xbox that will most likely fail but play with friends as it fails
 
I got mine for the blu-ray since it was the best and cheapest player at the time. Now that some sick game are coming out like uncharted 2 and god of war 3, I might start playing it more.
 
well the slim ps2 sucked and overheated and broke pretty often. hope this is not the same deal with the slim ps3 but i wouldnt be suprised. hold off on buying that shit till the bugs get worked out because there will be bugs. i already have ps3 though so im not too worried. i was thinking about selling it but fuck that i wont get shit for it after the price drop.
 
yo mgs4 isnt wat i thought it was going to be, theres hardly any gameplay and mostly just cutscenes, more like a movie. but.... if u do wanna play a game with many months of gameplay, get littlebigplanet at first i thought its was going to sukk balls but now im addicted, u can create ur own game anything u can really imagine, plus many many colors and things happening to make it even better when baked.

indeed it is, with games like resistance 2 and killzone 2, ps3's only problem with me is i only have four friends tht have one, but with games like MAG and others, ps3 is going to end up very populated
