I AM SO PROUD TO BE A CANADIAN!

I thought this crisis was caused by greedy and dumbfuck Americans who bought houses (cause they thought it's nice and everyone's right to have one, which it is in fact not) on credits without having any money or securities?! Also known as real estate bubble which led to the end of Lehmann Brothers, which led to the Euro crisis... Can't see ze government's fault. Also, noone protested when Mr Bush junior decided to pump billion after billion into the army to (unnecessarily) attack Iraq.

I really hope your generation brings some wit and reason into the middle class. Otherwise the US will be "just some" industrial country in 50 years from now, annoying the UN, China, India and the EU with stupid low self-esteem Vetos like Russia is nowadays.

Still, everyone's greedy. But your country is the stupid god of greed.

CANADA IS SICK BTW!

of course there were protests. i'm not of the opiniono that everyone is dumb over there haha: you got excellent universites. but thesé people represent like 5%? Average State high schools have miserable standards. Pls correct me if you experienced different...

And correct me if the main population did not support this war: "blablabla fighting terrorism blabalbal freedom blabla democracy for the world blablba..."

Everything else you said I agree with except this. The loud ones are the ones that get heard and the loudest of them all are the "blablabla fighting terrorism blablabla" people

USA 104/311,600,000 = 3.3

Canada 18/35,000,000 = 5.1

And that's not even the winter olympics.

Canadian GDP per capita- $40,457

USA GDP per capita- $48,386

So, even with all those dipshits in the south we still are more productive than the ever-so-precious land of Canada.

Meh, United States is number 11 on life satisfaction, Canada is 9. At least I'll be happier. US is still a great neighbour, plenty of great vacations down 'dere.

I just wanted to say, that during my holiday in America, I've seen the most fucked up breakfasts ever at the hotel, mainly the biscuits/gravy combo....? Also seen a guy fucking LOAD his eggs right up with gravy, and SOOOOOO MUCH PEPPER and SALT..... It was fucking gross. The portion sizes at restraunts are also ginormous. Why!?

USA's banking laws and regulations allowed banks to go absolutely crazy and invent reams of ridiculous, fraudulent, dangerous, and null financial products (despite being incredibly profitable, they were basically making money out of thin air, just by valuing shuffling debt across the world.)

The US was THE FIRST COUNTRY to engineer these kinds of financial instruments, and the government (Chosen by YOU, the American people) set up there financial system to allow these kinds of horrible things to take place.

Obviously, because the US was generating so much damn money, every other country followed suit and altered their economies to allow for the reciprocation of these so called "toxic assets".

The US set an example for the rest of the world. A bad one. And now, and for the next half century (that's if we can swing things around [doubtful]) the entire world will be paying for it. This is just the beginning.

That's like saying the back up assistant to the trainer of the entry level physical therapist for the New York Giants won the super bowl last year..technically you might be right, but they certainly didn't do much

Remember you guys didn't join the second world war 2 until half way through. Took an attack by the Japs to get you off your asses and help the allies fight the Nazis. Also Canada lost more men as a percent of population than United States, we lost a lot of soldiers. When saying Canada didn't do much remember you are talking about a country 1/10th your size, there is no way we can send as many soldiers or tanks as you guys did.

With the help of Britain (and it's former colonies), Russia and China. The United States were very important in the war, however you guys wouldn't of had a chance against the axis without your allies. I hope you guys one day you guys can appreciate what other countries contributed to the wars and not just focus on what you did.

Oh I know that we wouldn't have stood a chance all alone in the war. I just simply pointed out that we dropped the bombs on Japan basically ending the war.

They certainly didn't do much?

Look up Canada's involvement in WWII for example.

Sure Canada had a much smaller population, but a higher percentage of the entire population participated in the war compared to the US.

42% of the male population.. they did plenty.

Don't be ignorant and look up what Canada did in WWII

AND IM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN WHERE AT LEAST I KNOW IM FREE. AND I WONT FORGET THE MEN WHO DIED TO GIVE THAT RIGHT TO ME. AND I GLADLY STAND UP NEXT TO YOU AND DEFEND HER STILL TODAY. CAUSE THERE AINT NO DOUBT I LOVE THIS LAND, GOD BLESS THE USA.

i do enjoy being the greatest country, ever.

haha this kid is so butthurt...42% of a population consisting of a few WW1 era tanks, a couple mounties and some old musket guns is about as useful as tits on a bull

I'll continue with the sports analogies..

Sure, Michael Phelps (USA) had some help from coaches, trainers, sponsors (Britain, Russia, China) and towel boys (Canada) but at the end of the day he is the one that won (defeated) 22 Olympic medals (defeated the Axis)

don't talk shit on my biscuits and gravy and then turn around and stuff your face with poutine

that shit aint right
